Whenever you are starting something new, it’s very easy to get discouraged. It can be rough starting anything new. I can definitely relate I’ve had the oddest of all odd jobs with the weirdest schedules and the stress was unbearable at times. I remember being in Grad school and having to work a stressful job with the most awkward schedule and still finding time to study, it wasn’t pretty.

I would go in and out of going after what I really wanted until one day I just had enough. Thank God for sites like Pinterest and Instagram where just the smallest quote can change your mindset.

Just keep these quotes in mind when you are feeling discouraged.

If you are valuable to people it will be hard to compete with or get rid of you.

You should be familiar with this one. If you can convince your mind it’s possible then it will be possible..period.

You are your own worst enemy sometimes you need to get out of your own way.

This one has been circling around a lot lately and is the most obvious for any entrepreneur. Why shouldn’t you get paid for what you love to do?

If it scares you it might be worthwhile trying. Anything worth having will always scare the crap out of you when trying to get it but the reward will be well worth it.

This one has been a hard one for me because I like being self-sufficient and efficient. I’ve learned that no one starts off that way everyone learns from someone or some experience.

Worrying about what people think is the number one reason why people fail. Period. Bold statement to make but people’s opinions will either frighten you or fuel you.

If this isn’t confidence I don’t know what is.

Mark 8:36 says “For what profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul.” Never sell yourself out for a dollar, your plan should be aligned with what God has for you.
