Instagram Posts: Behind the scenes of staging a Post

Instagram Posts

Hey! So staging post is something that I used to be intimidated by I used to look at other people’s pictures and think; How are they doing that? Where do they find the time?

They make it look so easy.

Do these people even have day jobs or I can’t afford a good camera right now nor do I really have the time to stage anything. I’ll just steal pictures for now and edit them I guess right? Wrong 😐

Although it’s ok to repost pictures every now and then (making sure your credit the source) Staging your post is the best way to gain credibility and exposure especially if you are trying to grow a brand. I’ve learned a lot that has helped me along the way.

Buy a lightbox

Want to stand out? Buy a lightbox. You can purchase these on Amazon for around $15.00. Very affordable. These are really useful tools to help with your personal branding, helps your feed stand out, and looks really pretty too! You can make them say whatever you want whether it’s something that fits your personality, a product you’re advertising, or an inspirational quote.

Make it Attractive

Do what you have to do to stage your post in a way to get people’s attention. Also, I found that it really doesn’t take long to stage most things. That was my main problem. I thought it would take too much time. While it was easy just to repost a picture, in the long run, it will actually hurt your brand rather than help it. The algorithm particularly Facebook and Instagram doesn’t value reused content. If you are trying to get noticed, always remember #1 rule is to be original.

I found this lightbox to be the perfect brand-building tool

You don’t need an expensive camera, a light kit, etc to make it work, just some creativity and a couple of bucks.
